A Pig or a Princess（一隻豬或是一個公主）
If you dress up a pig, and decide to send her to the party, what will happen when the party is over?
Piggy is Pat’s pet pig.
One day, Piggy and Pat were in the living room eating popcorn and watching TV.
Piggy saw a beautiful princess dressed in a pretty dress in a TV show.
Her eyes were wide open.
“See that elegant princess on TV?
How charming and pretty she is!
I want to be like her, I want to dress up like her.”
So Pat tried to dress her up like the pricess in the show.
He found her a fine silk dress and put it on her.
He had her fingernails polished, red and shiny.
He coated her eyelashes with mascara, long and curly.
He bought her a pair of name brand sunglasses.
He picked up the newest fashion color lipstick.
He was so proud of how she looked and sent her to the party.
After the party was over, what would this pretty piggy do?
Would she care about her fine-polished pig hoof nails?
Would she mind if the make-up had been properly removed?
Would she pay any attention to the pretty curly eyelashes?
And where would she put her name brand sunglasses?
No, she wouldn’t bother with any of these things.
Where do you think she’s going to relax herself?
The cozy bedsheet with lining?
No, I guarantee that she would run back to her wonderful mud, as fast as she could.
Rolling over in the mud, she would make herself all muddy and dirty.
That’s the result of trying to dress up a pig and make her a princess!
No matter how much you try to dress it up, a pig’s still a pig.
Neither does it help to change the exterior of a person without changing his inner self.
It’s useless to try to dress up a pig to make her look like a princess!
