註: AlphaCAM 2017 R1 必須安裝於 64-位元 作業系統。 AlphaCAM 2016 R2 為支援32-位元 作業系統的最後版本。

使用者界面再增進：
切割曲線或多折線對話框巳更新且包括圖片,提示和說明連結:
設定對話框使用更方便選擇的直式排列工具列
工作平面屬性按鈕增加到工作平面專案管理員畫面內，更方便於編輯工作平面名稱和自動地啟用每個工作平面

全新3D 加工指令：
開始整合3D實體和3D曲面加工功能成一個更易於選取的指令，目前尚未完成整合全部功能但巳更新下列部份功能:
從圖面中經由按鈕直接選擇幾何圖形,材料, 和層
增加控制配置, 協助提示, 和圖片
連接說明文件顯示適合指令頁面的說明按鈕
圓柱式平行加工包括圖形式建立/編輯操作界面,更易於觀看刀具加工的起點及區域

更新加工循環：
新指令, '自動截斷 切割', 巳加入循邊功能,可建立部份切割,在開放圖形終點建立反向加工
使用孔 自動Z模式時針對特徵萃取的可鑽的孔可控制鑽孔深度
孔加工和孔自動Z中增加調整孔底部鑽孔速率, 和是否要彈出刀具內的材料的程式碼
3D加工使用"選擇面"時,除了可選擇實體也可選擇STL模型

全新CAD檔和版本：
在沒有使用SOLIDWORKS外加CADLinks情況下, 也可輸入SOLIDWORKS組件檔到AlphaCAM
新功能整合在輸入CAD對話框, 允許組件自動分別存檔, 自動對齊, 工件檔

增強 鋸 功能：
鋸 指令現在可檢測相同操作中不適用幾何圖形, 必要時刀具路徑會適當修剪
新指令, '鋸 延長', 可在加工 | 編輯加工選項中,手動延長和反向鋸切割路徑
其他新指令, '簡化線段', 可在幾何圖形 | 公用指令 | 特殊功能選單, 藉由給予原先幾何圖形的公差值簡化複雜幾何圖形或多折線

實體模擬更新：
實體切削模擬和模擬器增加程式停止功能,實體切削模擬可在設定對話框啟用, 模擬器, 則在'停止選項' 選單中可啟用
新指令 '切削速率' 選項增加到定義夾治具對話框,當塗彩模擬時可改變夾治具移動速率
實體切削模擬之前限制僅能一個沿Z旋轉的主軸, 現在 AlphaCAM支援 XY 主軸和 檯面附加軸

自動化管理員再增進：
AlphaCAM 2017 R1 第一次使用自動化管理員時會自動更新資料庫, 原有資料庫可用於先前AlphaCAM舊版, 但更改的部份無法顯示到其他版本
新對話框, '萃取實體外輪廓' 增加到特徵萃取設定中圖層設定頁面
非-排版專案圖檔, 此選項可在工序頁面中加工排序選用
可直接圖層比對設定頁面按下右鍵直接使用拷貝和貼上功能
一般執行增進

自動化管理員整合CDM：
確保相容性和增進功能, CDM巳整合到自動化管理員(需選購CDM授權)
舊版CDM檔可在自動化管理員帶狀工具列中使用'從CDM輸入檔案' 導入舊檔
工序包括新欄位, 'CDM 圖庫', 顯示門樣式, 可直接加入門到CDM專案進而加工
CDM設計頁面可建立新樣式和操作進而修改現有門樣板, 樣式和加工選項
